Bible/Doctrine study this Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 P.M. at the Pastor’s.  We shall begin Canons II: “The Death of Christ and the Redemption of Men Thereby.”  This may be the most hotly contested point of Calvinism, even among Reformed and Presbyterian believers.  Limited, partially limited, or universal atonement: what is the nature, intention, and scope of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross?  The atonement is certainly celebrated by those for whom Jesus died.  Why contested?  Why celebrated?  Come, let us study the faith of our fathers.  So it may be living still!  Welcome one and all!
