Doctrine Class meets this week Thursday at 7 P.M. at Calvin College, Room 252 of the Fine Arts Center.  We continue our discussion of GOD.  Next up: The Doctrine of Predestination.    This is an awesome, controversial doctrine, but comforting and a great inspiration to godliness and in our witness of the sovereign God!   We will consider questions such as “If we believe in predestination, why pray?  Why do evangelism?  Why work?  What are different views on predestination in the church world, and among Reformed churches?  What difference does it make what we believe on this matter?  All welcome, singles, couples, and families—and those even who have not come yet.  Please consider taking this opportunity for you and your children, if you so desire, to have a doctrine night together.  Couples, if you need an incentive for a “date night,” why not consider a “dinner and doctrine night” for your date?!
